Noise of Dance Covers Theft in Grocery Store A burglar took advantage of the noise from a dance upstairs to enter Henry's market, 697 S. 12th St., Wednesday night, city detectives surmised Thursday. Loot totaling between $10 and $15 was taken by the thief. Some $40 more in a cash register was reported untouched because the burglar was unable to break into it. Dancing in the Moose hall above the market apparently cov ered the noise made by the thief in forcing a rear window which leads into Salem Custom Curing plant, adjoining the market. A saw secured from the plant was used in an attempt to break in to the cash register. It was not known whether the burglar made off with small amounts of gro ceries and meat.
