the Four Corners Rural Fire Pro
tection district have announced it
will be impossible under existing
conditions, to answer fire calls
outside of the designated fire dist
rict, except to those persons or
group of persons adjacent to the
district having contracted or -made
other provisions with the fire de
partment for fire protection.
The designated boundaries are as
follows: The west line is mill
creek, then follows the Salem city
line to a point 650 ft. north of
Sunny view ave"., then -follows that
section line to about one and one
half miles east of Swegle school
then south to Center st., then east
to a point in line with the Fruit
land school, then south to include
the Salem sanitary filL Boundar
ies west from the Sanitary fill
site, one half mile ' then follows
the Rickey school district boundar
ies 'north, excluding all of the
Rickey school district except the
Four Corners residential area.

Albany Man Purchases
Colville 140 Acre Farm
TURNER Mr. and Mrs. Charles
Colville have sold their 140 acre
farm to Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Harms
of Albany. Colvilles are moving
to Albany where they will operate
a real estate office. They also sold
a 20 acre farm here to Mr. and Mrs.
David Kuhn, also of Albany.
The Harms ' have, a son and
daughter in high school and ,
son and daughter in grade school.

Frigaard Tuesday to organize.

Mrs. Conrad Frigaard; cor
responding secretary, Mrs. Bernard
Snook. Others present were Mrs.
John Rehfuss, Mrs. George Dur

Raymond Schultz.
Meetings will be held third Mon
day of each month. Next will be
with Mrs. George Durham, Dear
born avenue, to which all other
mothers of scouts are invited.
A rummage sale was planned for
February 9, above Greenbaums.

It was open to the public after

as a shrine by the late Mrs. Edison.
The estate includes a 13 acre tropi
cal garden bordering the Caloosa-

where Edison conducted his gold-

for a dance at the Legion hall,
Friday night, February 25. Mrs.
