SALEM HEIGHTS Christmas
spirit received a boost . Wednesday
night when Santa Claus in red
suit, long white whiskers and tas
seled cap visited some of the chil
dren in this area. Santa Claus rang
the door bell of Jerry, Marilyn,
and Sally Riewald, asked how they
were and what would they like for
Christmas. He visited Donnie,
Gayle, and Larry Miller, asked if
they had been good, and what did
they want.
He would then take out a pad
and write down every order. He
also called on Valerie, Delmer, and
Charles Ramsdell, Shelia Tulare,
Larry and Lorraine Battles. As
he visited Sharon, Donna and
Linda Whitacre, he said that he
had missed their letters and was
calling in person. Wished them all
a merry Christmas and said he'd
see them on Christmas.
