Irregularly lower stock market
was snapped oat of its downward
trend today by a late rally that
left it Tirtually unchanged on
the day. .
For some time the stock mar
ket has been influenced by news
developments at home and
abroad, selling off on the bad

. there were no developments of
market significance so far as the
market was concerned.

a broker, "but it's true that this
time no news seems to be good
