credited today with saving the life
of Donald Rhodes, 45, whose dairy
truck plunged off the Allegany
highway into the Coos river. ,
Holt, noticing the accident as ho
drove by, stripped off his clothes
and pushed a log to Rhodes, who
was struggling, unable to ' swim,
in the river. Rhodes had msnagcxi
to climb from the submerged truck
cab. ' j .
A wrecking company grappled
six hours for the truck, sunk in 25
feet of water, before finding it,
The accident occurred at midnight
