ninth Polk county fair will be held
here August 26, 27 and 28. No

three larger Polk county towns,
Monmouth, I n d e p e n dence and
Dallas, will furnish entertainment.

Livestock entries will "be limited
to Polk 4-H clubs, and winners
will go on to the state lair the
following week. Displays' of 4-H
club sewing and a fashion revue

livestock will be competitive in
terest for the 4-H club members.
Other exhibits are open to the

foods, fancy work, art work,
flower, fresh fruit and vegetable
