change marriage vows this after
noon at the First Congregational
church with the Rer. Seth Hunt
ington performing the $; o'clock
nuptials. The bride is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Weeks and
will be given in marriage by her
father. The benedict is the son of
Mrs. H. F. St. John. The altar will
be banked with arrangements of
cream colored gladioluses with a
lavender edge. Miss Eleartor Fran
cisco and Miss Helen Ritchey In
pink frocks will light the candles.
Miss Bernice Kleihege will be the
soloist and Jean HobsonlRich the
organist. : r
Of white slipper satin and nylon
marquisette is the bridal town, fa
shioned with a satin bodice enhan
ced with a net yoke and wide lace
bertha. The full marquisette skirt
is over satin and terminates In
train. Her fingertip veil will cas
cade from a erownlesa hat of lace
. adorned with seed pearl trim. She
will carry a cascade bouquet or
white camellia gladioluses center
ed with a white orchid.
Feminine members of the bridal
party will wear frocks or dotted
swiss made with off shoulder neck
lines and bertha and full skirts.
They will have matching half hats
of horsehair braid trimmed with
flowers and carry baskets on their
arms tinea witn weetpeas ana
larkspur. Miss Nola Gottenberg
will be the honor maid and will
wear orchid and the bridesmaids.
Miss Rosemary Majeskl and Miss
Sally ' Cornelius, will be In sea
green. 1 Sandra Sti frier, niece of
the bride, will be the flower girl
and her dress is of yellow. She will
carry a parasol filled with flowers.
Brather Flies North
William Remington ' flew north
from San Francisco to be his bro
ther's best man and seating the
guest I will be Clifford Amend,
John Jamzen and Harold Sher
man.
For her daughter's nuptials Mrs.
Weeks will wear a smoke grey aft
ernoon dress with pink hat and
gloves. Mrs. SL. John has chosen
a navy; blue dress with white trim
and nary aad white accessories.
Their corsages will be of pink
rosebuds.
A wedding 'reception will be
held in the fireplace room. Mrs.
A. M. Mattock of Eugene win rut
the bride's) cake and Mrs. William
Wagner will cut the groom's cake.
Pouring will be Mrs. Homer C.
Stiff! er and at the punch bewl will
be Mrs. Don Moser. Assisting will
be "Miss Jeanne Buske and Miss

cisco on their honeymoon and for
traveling 'the bride will wear' a
dusty rose wool gabardine salt
-with box jacket trimmed with gold
metal buttons. Her accessories are
creme de cacao and her rose hat Is
trimmed with ostrich plumes. Pin
ned to her suit will be a white or
chid. Mr. Remington and his bride
will make their home In Portland.

Minn, this weekend are Mrs. J.
IL Lucas and daughters, Martha
Louise and Nancy, who spent six
weeks visiting Mrs. Lucas brother
and family and other relatives.
