fence. Nunes and Eddie Barr were
the big guns in the 22-hit attack

son) with four hits each. Jim Wert
and Joe Gedzius had three.
; Bob Stevenson and Max Strait
were hooked up in the hurling
duel, and Steve had the best of it
at 3-2 after the seventh. Then
eame the explosion to help give
him his fifth wm of the season.
Stevenson allowed nine hits. The
teams play again tomorrow night.
