Hold Annual Reunion
SUBLIMITY St. Boniface
high school alumni will hold their
second annual homecoming on
Tuesday, May 25 at the parish
hall.
Nine members of the graduat
ing class will be honor guests at
a banquet and will be invited to
join the association.
Ernest Riesterer will be toast
master and the Rev. Stephen
Brietenstein and the Rev. Nor
man Fritz, both of Portland, will
be among the speakers.
Announcement of the officers
elected for the coming year will
be made, and a bulletin contain
ing information and news about
the graduates will be presented
by the historian, Leonard Hend
ricks. Glenn Woodry's 13 piece
orchestra from Salem will play
for dancing after the banquet.

1. Repeal the state withholding tax.
2. Reduce state income taxes by re
storing the higher exemptions in ef
fect prior to the 1947 legislative ses
sion: from $1000 to $1500 for mar
ried persons; $500 to $750 for sin
gle persons.
3. "Humanize" the state income tax
by allowing deductions for Unusual
Medical Expense and Life Insur
ance Premiums up to $250 a year.
4. Set aside half the treasury sur
plus to prevent tax increases when
tax revenues drop.
