ON RESCUE SHIP
Howard D. Kyle, MMlc. USN,

of Salem, was serving aboard the
carrier TJSS Kearrarge when it
recently took aboard four injured
seamen in Cuban waters. The
seamen were scalded from an ex-
ploding boiler aboard a merchant
ship and were transferred to the
Kearsarge sick-bay, according to
a navy pre.-s release Saturday.
