The win moved the So lo na over the Athletics Into third place, half a game back of runner -up Wena tehee. Big Jim Olsen notched his third pitching win of the campaign as he went the route for the Ore gonians. Olsen gave up 10 hits, same total which Salem garnered eff Ward and Keuhl, but was tough in the clutches. He nipped Victoria threat in the eighth by fanning Sal Recca with the bases loaded.
