Jeffersott Host At Rural School Track Meet Friday JEFFERSON Rural schools In this community have been in vited, to the annual May day festivities here Friday. May 14, beginning with assembly at 9 ajn. Taking pert in the all-day program will be Talbot, Sidney, Looney Butte, Riverview, Devan ey, Marion and Jefferson schools. The grade . track meet will be held from 9.-30 to 11. It will in clude a 30- and 100-yard dash and softball throw for boys and girls; running broad jump for boys, and relay (four members each running 50 yards), all schools. A parade led by the Jef ferson school band at 11 wilj be a new feature this year. One hundred and twenty men will be employ ed and the company has acquired barracks at Mongol from the army engineers and has a mess hall and dormitory.
