The 2T petitioners seek the change to Glenwood drive because there- is also a Smith street in north Salem near the junction of Fairgrounds road and Highland avenue. In order that the Four Corner residents may obtain house numbers and receive mail service, it is necessary that the change be made. Postmaster Albert Gragg has approved the name change which was already suggested to the county court some months ago by the Salem city council. No action was taken by the court at that time. County Judge Grant Mur phy said, because no actual pro posal asking for the change had been made. The court has also set for hear ing on the 19th petitions seeking the naming of seven, unnamed roads in the Cherry avenue dis trict near North Salem city lim its.
