Will Wed
Today
In a setting of pink snapdragons
and calls lilies at the First Chris
tian church this afternoon at 2:30
o'clock, Miss Betty Keith, daugh
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Allan T. Keith,
will become the bride of Earl Loe,
son of Mrs. Wllma Loe. Miss Mary
Evelyn Parke will sing and Rus
sell Morrell will be the organist.
The Rev. Dudley Strain will per
form the ceremony.
The bride, who will enter on the
arm of her father, will wear a
white satin gown fashioned with
a full, gathered skirt entrain, long
sleeves and a fitted bodice with
sweetheart neckline. Her fingertip
lengtn veil edged In lace, will cas
cade from a. braided satin tiara.
She will carry pink and white tu
lips and bouvardia.
Preceding the bride will be Miss
Barbara Keith, her sister's maid of
honor, and Miss Delores Ammann
and Mrs. Ronald Bonney, as
bridesmaids. Miss Keith will wear
a pink taffeta gown and brides
maids' dresses are of blue taffeta.
The girls will wear matching
shoulder length veils and carry
arm bouquets of white tulips.
Ronald Bonney will stand with
the groom as best man and seat
ing the guests will be Jerry Hale,
Milton Morey, and Paul Schmidt.
For her daughter's wedding Mrs.
Keith will wear an azure blue suit
with matching accessories and
Mrs. Leo will attend her son's nup
tials in a chestnut brown pin stripe
suit and brown accessories. Their
corsages will be of sweetpeas and
white roses.
The couple will greet guests at
a reception in the church parlors.
Mrs. Emily Moore will cut the
cake and Mrs. Eva Gearhart will
preside at the coffe urn. Assisting
will be the Misses Donna Dasch,

When the couple leaves on the
wedding trip the bride will don a
mist grey suit with carnation
green accessories and orchid cor
sage. The newlyweds will live in
Salem at 733 5. 13th street
Annual Tea Slated
The Salem Memorial hospital
will meet at the hospital chapel
at 1:30 o clock Monday afternoon
Mrs. Coble de Lespinasee will
speak on "Children of Holland
and Impressions gathered while
on her recent trip to Europe. Hos
tesses will be Mesdames Msyme
Hill, Marguerite Seely, Donald
Upjohn, Clifton Rosa, George T
Hewitt and Wayne Pettit Plans
will be made for the auxiliary's
annual tea to be given April 23
at the Salem Woman s clubhouse
Old glass and hand painted china
will be exhibited at the tea, to
which the general public is in
vited.
Motoring to Portland Monday
will be members of the fine arts
department of the Salem woman's
club, who are sponsoring a Vic
torian table in the china ware de
partment at Olds and King din
ing the week. They will have
luncheon at noon at the Roose
velt hotel and in the afternoon
will visit the Portland Art Mu
seum.

Members of the Salem Junior
Woman's club will be special
guests at the regular meeting of
the Salem Woman's club Satur
day afternoon at the clubhouse
at 2 o'clock. A board meeting will
recede at 1 o'clock with Mrs.

The Junior women will present
the program which Is under the
direction of Mrs. C M. Collins.
Colored slides of Alaska will be
shown by Mrs. Oliver Mansfield.
Special music will also be given.
