Wallet Found
By Plumbers
A billfold apparently lost or
stolen in 1943 was unearthed here
Thursday and turned over to Mar
lon County Sheriff Denver Young.
No cash was contained, but return
to the owner, A. P. Ramseyer,
was impossible due to his absence
from the city.
The sheriff said a plumber
found the billfold stuffed behind
the water tank in a restroom at
the Harbison service station, Che
meketa and High streets. It con
tained about $107 in checks of
small amounts, dated in 1943. At
that time Ramseyer was a High
street garageroan. Also attached
was the badge of a special deputy
sheriff.
