At Amity
AMITY The 30th annual
meeting ol the "Amity SO Year
club" was held Oct 24 in the
auditorium of the union 'high
achooi buildijig. Chester Mulkey,
president, pretided Mrs. Mildred
Wyatt of Salem led the f roup in
kinging. Mrs. Edith E. Jones of
Sclera gave the invocation. Mrs.

lie), now living at Monmouth, and
"Mrs. Barbara Stultz of Amity were
the oldest members present, hav
ing passed their 93rd Birthdays.
E. B. Jamison of Los Angeles re
ceived the pri?e for having travel

the meeting.
Officers elected to serve in 1948
are: A. B Glandon, president: S.
H. Howard, vice president; Bessie
Sorenson, tecretary-treasurer, all
of Amity.
