The Salem fire department
Wednesday helped extinguish a
grass fire that was out of control
on a lot in the 200 block of South
Church street where city crews

A varied program for the re
mainder of this wet k's district
girls' camp in the Silver Creek
recreational area was announced

day "to abate a nuisance within
30 days" after his neighbors in
the 2300 block of Claude street
complained to police that his eight

dams, is now under review by
the inter-agency committee fol

tests of the fish interefts against
dams but cited the count of mi
grating fish at Bonneville as proof
of the value of works- there pro
vided for fish passage. He ex
pressed real concern for the Celilo
