John Schmidt, jr.. sane and Mir Schmidt was the organist. The altar was banked with palms and pink arid white gladioluses. Light in the tapers were Miss Doris Townend. a sifter of the bride. and Miss Nancy Burford. Therbride. given in mrrriage by her father, wore a while lare own with train, long f-leeves and a satin girdle inset on the bodice. Her fingertip length tulte veil was held in place with orange bio Kims and she' carried a colonial bouquet tof bouvardia and glad iolues. . . Mrs. Robert Lorenz was her firtet's honor attendant and wore mijt blue taffeta frock. Brides maids were Miss Elaine Town send, a sister, and Miss Auei Hardy, cousin of the groom. They wore identical blue nd pink printed frocks made with bustles full skirt and off shoulder neck. lines. They carried pastel colonial bouquets. Rex Hardy was his brother's best man and groomsmen were Robert Lorenz and David Tomlin- fum of Portland. Ushers were Mel vin Bowcut, Harold Hartman Leon Everitt and Alvin Jones. . E3na Bowcut. niece of the groom was flower girl and wore a pink net floor length dress trimmed in pink ribbon and ruffling. Byron LaFollette wa ring bearer. For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Townend wore a white and black print dress with black rib bon hat and white accessories Mrs. Hardy attended the nuptials in an aqua dress with black ac ceones and both wore corsages of gladioluses. Assisting at the wedding re . eeption were Mesdames Louis Lo reni, E. Stafford. L. LaMarr and Melvin Bowrut. Mrs. Rex Hardy passed the guest book and Mioses . Zelda and Velma Hardy, cousins ef the groom, and Virginia Lewis were in charge of the gift table. When the couple left on their honeymoon trip to California the bride wore a turquoise and black print dress with white picture hat and corsage of pink rosebuds. The rtewlyweds will live in Salt Lake City, where he is in business. Mrs. Wilson S. Slecmund will entertain members of her club at bridge and a late supper tonight t her South High street home.
