J Bolter are returning from a trip which took them to Iowa and Florida from where they flew "to Cuba and back. Grand Island Dr. W. H. Ber nard who has been visiting at the Vime of Lulu Rockhill. has re turned to his home in Ridgefield Wash. Dr, Bernard formerly prac ticed in Dayton. Grand Island Myrtle Rock hill accompanied Mr. and Mrs. John Richardson to Pacific City for the weekend. Lyons Mr. and Mrs. George Clipfell spent the Fourth of July holiday with their daughter, Mrs. Don Sheppard and family at Ba ker. Dayton F. B. Willert was re installed as postmaster at the Day ton postoffice last Tuesday. He was on leave of absence while serving in World War II and Mrs Russell Hadley - acted as post master during Willert's absence. Labish Center Mr. and Mrs Ruben Boehm and family and Eva Pearsall were holiday guests at the beach home of the Pete Russe's in Gleneden. Mill City On a vacation trip to Canada are Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Meinert and Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Johnson. Gervais Mr. and Mrs. Olin Brown have moved their furniture from their place here to Albany, where he has accepted employ ment as cleaner for Lilly Seed company. Marlon Forks Mr. and Mrs. Paul Matovich and -son Pete, and Kathleen Swsrthout of Molalla spent Sunday-re. Roberta Mr. and Mrs. Lee Eyerly have had as t eir guests her cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Waglenda of Chicago. The visit ors were taken on numerous trips including to the coast and Silver Creek Falls. While here they also visited Mr. and Mrs. Paul Wyglen da of Four Corners. Gervais Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Jorgensen spent' the Fourth holi day with her parents in Sedro Woolley, Washington. Roberts Lee Eyerly will leave Wednesday on a short business trip to Los Angeles. Gervais Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Booster and daughters, Lynn and Denise, of Oak Park, III., have been visiting relatives here and at Salem. They accompanied Mrs. J. H. Booster and Sarah Lou to Crater lake this week. Marlon Falls Mr. and Mrs. Foster Steele of Portland and daughter Anne Harzlip of San Francisco visited the Scott Youngs recently. Steele is a former as sistant supervisor of the Santiam forest. Roberts Members of Roberts grange met Monday night and completed the cleaning of the hall. Gervais Rex Cutsforth and Francis Lenhart motored to Dia mond lake and spent the holidays fishing.
