Notice hi hereby given that the com
mon council of the city of Saleni. Ore
gon, deems it necessary and expedient
and hereby declares its purpose and in
tention to Improve East Nob Hill street
from the south line of Superior street
to the lino of Oxford street at the ex
pense of the abutting and adjacent
property, except the street intersec
tions the expense of which will be
assumed by the city of Salem, by
bringing said portion of said street to
the established grade, constructing ce
ment concrete curbs, and paving said
portion of said street with an asphaltic
concrete pavement thirty feet wide, tot
accordance with the plans and specifi
cations therefor which were adopted
by Ut common council May 7. 147.

the city recorder and which hereby are
