direct the camping fireside act,
and the Salem Saddle club and

County Engineer Hedda Swart
took on the added duty of being
county surveyor Tuesday. Under
an arrangement with the Marion
county court Swart will , not re
ceive pay for the additional duties.

until the next county elections.
Hugh Fisher resigned the post
because of ill health after many
years of service. A. D. Graham
was named as deputy county sur
veyor by the county court, to be
effective April 1.
