lalla since 1911, died there at
his home on Christmas day.
Funeral services will be held in
Mt. Angel Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
from the Unger funeral home
with the Rev. Garboden of Mar
quam officiating. Interment will
follow in Belle Passi cemetery.
Nieuweoer was born March 15.
1857. at St?kenburg. Holland. He
emigrated to the United States
and to Portland in 1910 and the
following year moved to Mo'alla.
His wife, Judith, died 13 years
ago.
The deceased is survived by
three sons. C. Nieuweoer of Mo
lalla and H. W. Nieuweoer and
W. Nieuweoer of Portland, two
grandsons and five great grandchildren.

The Salem Electric, a private
distributor of Bonneville power,
will submit a bid to the Marion
county court Saturday for fur
nishing power to the county shops.
