ARREST LANG LEY BROTHERS
Wallace Langley, charged with
disorderly conduct, and Odell W.
Langley, charged with assault
with a dangerous weapon, both of
Scotts Mills, appeared Tuesday
before Justice of the Peace AH O.
Nelson at Silverton. Wallace
Langley pleaded guilty and was
fined $250 and sentenced to 60
days in the Marion county jail.
Odell Langley pleaded innocent to
two charges , of assault filed
against him by Mrs. Joe Perry
and Roy Landon, both of Scotts
Mills, and is being held upon fail
ure to post a total of $6000 bail
on the two counts. The two broth
ers were arrested early Tuesday
morning by sheriffs deputies.

The trial of Glenn C. Moody,
charged with rape, was begun
Tuesday in Marion county circuit
court before Judge E. M. Page.
The jury was taken to the prem
ises of the alleged offense during
the morning. After an afternoon
session in which the State of Ore
gon's case against Moody was pre
sented by deputy district attorney
Reginald Williams, the case was
continued until 9:30 ajn. this
morning. .
