Salom, Of.. Wodnosday. Octobor 23. 194S 11 Wheat Futures Continue Climb CHICAGO. Oct. 22,-fVP-Wheat futures continued to climb today, advancing more than two cents a bushel, and their strength aided the sagging markets In corn and oats. f Good demand for cash wheat, easing of government restrictions on use of the cereal, government wheat purchasing, and strength in cotton futures were influences in persistent commission house buy ing of wheat futures. Wheat closed 2 to 2i cents higher than the previous finish. January $2 04'. corn was up 4 to la cent, January $1.40'i-ii, oats were 4 to 1 cent higher, November 82 '4-li, and barley wis to 3 cents up, November $1.42. The government removed re strictions on use of wheat by breakfast food makers, and auth orized brewers to use 80 per cent of the amount of grain they used in the last quarter of 1945, com pared with 70 per cent for March through August. It also authorized millers to include 1945 ia!os to military purchasers in their month ly calculations for distribution quotas, which will allow them to deliver about 90 per cent as much flour to domestic consumers as In 1945. Technically, however, the 85 per rent limitation for millers still Is in effect. Help Wanted Male Wanted - A-l Mechanic on familiar with Chrysler praount. Good working conditions. Top waes. W. L.
