WELLS SENTENCED
William Sherman Wells enter
ed a plea of guilty to a charge of
larceny Saturday and was sen
tenced by Circuit Judge George
Duncan to 18 months in the state
prison but was paroled. Condi
i tions of his parole are that he re
frain from driving a car for 18
months and that he reimburse the
injured parties. He was charged
with the- theft of an auto from
Eugene Ward on June 15.
