today to refund $23,508.25 plus
interest from July 1945, to Ken

The court upheld Ford's con
tention that because he and his

June Arrests
Totalled 2208
Oregon state police during June
arrested 2208 persons and warned
4173 others for violating motor
vehicle laws. Superintendent II. G.
Maison said today.
Fines and sentences for these
offenses totaled $16,943 and 2196
days in jail. Maison rexrted an
increase in drunken driving, with
51 persons arrested. Thejr paid
$4983 m fines and got 1550 days
in jail.
The officers made 264 arrotx
for violations of general laws,
fines and sentences totaling $2209
and 109 years in prison. The 104
persons arrested for violating
game laws paid $3229 in fines,
while the 22 persons arrested for
violating commercial fishing laws
paid $560.
Maison said hfcs department now
has 314J395 fingerprint cards and
67.039 photographs in its files.
The state police crime detection
laboratory made 48 investigations
in June, including 16 alcohol and
10 blood identification tests.
