Both Crown -Zetlerbach and

nounced by Canadian manufac

Idaho senators said today they do
not plan to intercede with tjhe
war department In behalf of an
Idaho soldier convicted by court
martial in Japan of murder, rape
and assault and sentenced to be
hanged.
Senators Taylor and Gosselt,
democrats, said they had no in
formation concerning the convic
tion of Leo W. Christeitsen of
Iowa, Idaho, and knew nothing
about the case. They said they
had not been requested to inter
cede for him.

signed to the Shasta Daylights

cars for the Cas
cade, which Portland-San Fran
cisco overnight train will become
completely streamlined as rapid
ly as new csrs are available. It
