At a double ring ceremony read
by the Rev. Chester W. Hamblin
at the First Presbyterian church
Saturday afternoon. Mis Clarice
Satter. daughter of Mr. and Mr.
Clarence A. Satter of Artesia,
S. Di became the bride of Har
old 0. Edwards, ion of Mr. Evan
Edward.
The bride wore a smart crepe
dress of watermelon red, white
accessories and a while starched
lace, hat with open crown. i Her
corsage was of baby glads and
Cecile Brunner roses. She wore
a gold locket belonging, to her
mother.
Her sister. Miss Lucille Satter
dressed tn an azure crepe suit
with brown and white accessories
was maid of honor. She wore a
corsage erf sweetpeas and garden
ias. Bridesmaid was Mrs. Lyle
Leighton. Mr. Lighton. cousin of
the bride, was best man.
After the ceremony the party
dined at. Normandy Manor.
When the couple left on the
horeymoon the bride was wearing
a Copenhagen blue summer suit
with three-quartr length sleeves.
Following the honeymoon, the
groom will go to Santa Barbara,
where he has been transferred by
the "Texas company. Mrs. Ed
wards will follow in a few weeks.
She is a graduate of Northern
State Teachers college at Aber
deen. S. D., and has recently been
bookkeeper - secretary for the
Teamsters union in Salem. She
has been active in the Salem Jun
ior Woman's club and American
Legion auxiliary.

formed the ceremony at the home
of the bride's mother in the .Fish
er apartments.
The bride wore a suit of pastel
pink, with black accessories and
wore a white orchid. Sgt. and
Mrs. Raymond Strawn attended
the couple.
The bride has been emoloyed
at Ladd and Bush bank. The
groom recently returned from
overseas duty with the navy. Doth
are graduates from Salem high
school.
After a reception, the couple
left for a trip to the Oregon
beaches. They will live in Salem.
