beck. The nuptials took plate at
4 o'clock at the Hoover home on
Worth Capital street.

The auxiliary drill team is pre
paring for the state convention to
be held at Astoria in June. There
are still a few openings in the
team. Officers of the auxiliary
will take part in the ritualistic
competitions during convention.
Mrs. Wallace Hug will ha a
bridge hostess tonight at her South
12th street home for the pleasure
of her tlub. A late supper will
be served after several hours of
contract.

' Wedding bells will ring on Sat
urday. June 15 for Miss Dolores
Culver and Robert D. Lindstrom.
Miss Culver is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Culver and
her fiance is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. T. A. Lindstrom. The couple's
engagement was announced in
February.
The ceremony will take place
in the fireplace room of the First
Congregational church before
members of the immediate fam
ily. The bride-to-be has asked Mrs.
Daryl Mason (Carol Schaffer) to
be her only attendant and T. A.
Lindstrom, Jr. will be his brother's
best man.
Immediately after the ceremony
the couple will leave on their
honeymoon to Carmel and other
California points. They will re
turn to Salem to live and in the
fall will go to Corvallis where he
will attend Oregon State college.

Vows Are
Revealed
Announcement is being made of
the marriage of Miss Gayle Ann
Hyde, daughter of Mrs. George
Trunk, to Technical Sergeant Lyle
Ernet Lee. soft of Mr. and Mrs.
Ernest A. Lee.; all of Salem, on
May 15 in Portland with the Rev.
Paul Kunzman officiating before
members of the immediate family
and a few friends.
After a trip to the Oregon
mountains and lakes the newly
weds left for Montana and Yel
lowstone National Park.
Sergeant Lee will return to the
air corps on July 1 to take a course
as an instructor in Jet Engines.
The couple expect to 'live in Mon
tana. The bride is a graduate of Salem
schools and has been employed
at the Commercial Book Store.
Her husband is also a graduate
of Salem schools and returned to
the states this winter from Japan,
after his liberation from a prison
camp.
