full five-cent daily Irmtt at the
close.
Strong at the opening, the price
advanced on the strength - of a
daily limit advance at Minne
apolis. Traders watched the Win
nipeg price decline the full limit
before partial recovery developed
there.
Toward noon some light profit
cashing uncovered stop los or
der. Prices held fairly well for a
time, but toward the close there
were no takers.
At the close, wheat, corn and
barley held at their respective
ceilings, $1.83'i. $1.21'j and
$1-262. Oats were unchanged to
higher than yesterday's close,
May 83. Rye was unchanged to
5 cents lower. May $2.77 .

strike stalemate revived.

the big bull swing was now in

rurrender of the nazls, the Asso
ciated Press over-all average had
climbed 13.5 points and quoted
values increased roughly $15,000,
