Buick of Masterton. New Zealand, on Saturday, March 18. The bride sailed from San Francisco on February 23 and was married three days after her arrival. The couple met in Europe in 1938 when they were touring the continent. . The ceremony took place at the Episcopal church in Master ton with the Rev. Archdeacon Kenney officiating. For her wedding the bride chose a white satin gown fash ioned with a train. The shirred bodice was designed with a sweetheart neckline and long sleeves with points over the wrists. Her fingertip veil of bridal Illusion, cascaded from a tiara of flowers. She carried white prayer book marked with white orchids. Mr. Horace Chap pel, the groom's cousin, gave the bride in marriage. Miss Joan Gemmell was the bridesmaid and wore a full skirted pink net frock with pink lace bodice made with long sleeves. She carried an old fash toned nosegsy of pastel flowers.
