The famous name of Knute
Rockne, immortal coach of Notre
Dame, will- be given to a boys'
school to be built near here, it
was announced today by the Most
Rev. Charles Francis? Buddy, D.D,
bishop of San Diegoi
To be built on a 50-acre site in
V Valley 20 miles from here, the
school will be known as tho
Knute Rockne Academy, San
Diego Foundation for Boys."
