4 ripe tomatoes
1 cucumber
U cup four cream
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
Lettuce
, Peel tomatoes and hollow out
centers. invert and allow to
drain in the refrigerator. Peel
and dice cucumber; combine
with tomato pulp, parsley and
sour cream and season with salt
and pepper to taste. Fill tomato
shells with cucumber mixture
and serve on a bed of lettuce.

Mrs. George X. Allen was a
supper hostess Wednesday night
at her home on North 21st street
for the pleasure of Mrs. A. S.
Roberts and her daughter, Mrs.
Joseph Binford of Texas, who
are the summer house guests of
Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Laws. An
other out-of-town guest at the
party was Mrs. Eleanor Iorns of
Seattle, who arrived Tuesday for
a visit at the home of Mrs. Al
len. Covers were pi iced for 14
guests. A buffet supper was
served and guests were seated
at small tables. Arrangements
of garden flowers provided the
decorative note about the rooms.
The evening hours were spent
informally.
