Sells Building G. J. Moisan
has sold his brick building on
Fourth street in Gervais to the
Sam Carters who have occupied
it as a sandwich shop. They plan
now to use all of the building to
handle the increased business
Moisan has had an insurance of

a jurisdictional dispute. ' .,
AFL employes picketed the
plant. this morning.
The union claims to represent
175 of the mill's 300 employes and,
protests the CIO contract under;
which the plant operates.. The
national labor relations board has;
approved, the; strike vote, but,
would not approve a bargaining
election because , the CIO contract
is industry-wide. The local AFIi
members are not considered an
appropriate- bargaining group.

tional war labor board that it "will
comply to the fullest extent . . . tq
maintain production of vitally
needed war material.
CIO wired a similar promise.
