4 filets of halibut, flounder,
or sole (1 pounds)

tablespoons butter or sub
stitute m tablespoons flour
teaspoon Worcestershire
sauce .
Vi teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon garlic vinegar "
pint cream
H cup diced cheese
Place filets In individual greas
ed baking dishes or a large bak
ing dish and sprinkle with salt
and pepper. Melt butter in
saucepan. Remove from fire and
add flour, mixing to a smooth
paste. Add mustard. Worcester
shire sauce and vinegar and stir
thoroughly. Return to flame and
add cream; stirring constantly
until sauce has thickened. Add
cheese and cook over low flame
until cheese has melted. Pour
sauce over fish. Place In 400
degrees oven and bake until top

Roseborough, who are here from
New York City. The visitors
plan to leave next week for. the
east after a month's stay In the
west.
Eighteen guests were invited
. to honor the Roseboroughs. The
buffet table and guest rooms
were festive with bouquets of
pastel garden flowers. The even
ing hours were spent informally.

The Oak Grove Gardeners met
Tuesday afternoon at the home
of Mrs. Madge Mayhood, A
display of flower arrangements
decorated the rooms.

San Francisco, which was told
to the brid-elect's sorority sis
ters at the farewell senior din
ner at the chapter house. The
wedding of the young, couple
will take place In Camas, Wash
the bride's home, -on June 30.
The announcement was made
when the house president, Dor
othy Kenney, released two kit
tens from a ' paper bag. About
the neck of one kitten was an
officer's crest and about the oth
er was a wedding ring.:
! Miss Blake is a senior! at Wil
lamette university. She has
served as senior scholar in home
economics and will graduate on
June 23. Her fiance took his
navy V-12 training at Willam
ette and attended midshipman's
school at Columbia university.
He will return from his supply
training at Harvard the last part,
of the month. Both Miss Blake,
and Ensign Slater were promin
ent in campus activities.
J Miss Blake was honored with
a! bridal shower by her sorority
sisters following the dinner. The
three seniors, Wilms Froman,
Betty Hanauska and Janet
Blake were! presented with
creste-d earrings as farewell
gifts. j
