Among the homegrown food
products lately added to the long
. list of such commodities previou-
ly in the Market are a quantity of
- home canned fruit in glass Jars
: peaches, pears, and pitted black
cherries. Tomatoes in 1-qt. and
2-qt. Jars are also available. These j
processed foods do not require as
many blue points as the factory I
processed food in tins. Among
other items are local grown home
dried sweet prunes, shell beans
and navy beans. All fine food.
The Co-op Market still has the
outstanding locally . grown apple
. display in Salem. There is still a
good supply of walnuts and fil
berts. In addition to Co-op butter the
Market now has Parkay, Alls wee t
and Nucoa substitutes. There will
also be some lunch meats. This
line will be expanded as soon as
sufficient additional capital is
