On New Duties
W. H. Baillie, for several yean-
past the manager of the local em
ployment office, has been assigned
to new duties as temporary area
representative' for the U. S. em
ployment service in- northwest
Oregon, outside of Portland. His
territory, will embrace the counties
as far south as Linn and Benton
and west to the coast
Arch Metzger, who has been
assistant in the local office has
been advanced to temporary man
ager. It is not known how long
the temporary assignments will
hold. Baillie will continue to make
