Youth Active In Church Day -' First Christian Plant To Have Young Folk - Present PrjogranT ; As a culmination of national youth week Sunday tht First Christian church wfli find the youth of the church taking a large part in all tht services and present the worship service. At the church school hour in the morning at 9:49 the young people will take over nearly all classes of the church and also be acting superintendents of the departments. Young men from the high school will replace all the regular ushers In the morning. Rev. Dudley Strain has as his morning - sermon topic, "Since Christ Is Lord." The choir under ' the direction of John Schmide, Jr. will sing the anthem: "I Will Thank Thee, O Lord" by Moir; and "Hear Our Prayer by Teas dale, Betty Pugh Hagen will be soloist Miss Dorothy Toomey will lead the congregation singing and at T:30 Paul Schmidt will read the acripture. Muriel Fitts will play a violin solo for the offertory and Richard Bates will give the even lag prayer. s A girl's quartet from the young people's department will sing "O Lovt of God" by Lillenai. Tht. quartet members are Beth Gree- lee, Mary Morgan, Blossom Bates and Joyce Van Dyke. Then with the general theme .
