2 dozen large oysters
f cups coarsely crumbled
crackers
4 teaspoon salt
V teaspoon pepper
1 cup oyster liquor and milk
1 teaspoon grated onion
ttjcup butter or substitute
Drain oysters, reserving liquid,
add top milk to make one- cup.
Arrange one third of crumbs in
greased2-quart casserole, place
half oystVs on top, sprinkle with
salt and pepper, repeat and top
with remaining crumbs. Heat
liquor and m, onion and butter
until latter is melted. Pour over
oyster mixture and bake in mod
' erate oven at 350 degrees for 35
minutes. This serves C.

IVi cups water
- teaspoon: salt .
lb. shrimp or crab meat
1 dozen oysters
3 tablespoons fat
4, tablespoons flour
cup grated cheese
' Salt and pepper
24 crackers , -
Drain oysters, reserving liquid.
Melt fat in saucepan. Stir in I
flour. Gradually add fish 4iquor
wua enough milk to make S
cups. Cook until thick -and!
smooth. Add cheese and stir un
til melted. Season. Add fish, heat
thoroughly j and serve on crack
