slices bacon, diced
V cup water
Shred the cabbage coarsely.
Peel and slice the potatoes. Place
in a large saucepan and add the
bacon and salt and pepper to
taste. Add the water and cook
over a medium "flame until the
potatoes are tender, or about 20
minutes.
