played In the Pacific Northwest,
the San Francisco Seals and Holly
wood Stars Joined together to hand
a nine composed-of players rep-
resenting Seattle and Portland Pa
cific Coast league clubs a 7-1 set
back here tonight,
The 'Southerners, . who had
previously pushed across a pair of
runs in the third frame, jumped on
Portland Beaver Twirler Joe Sul

Dame, Coach Ed McKeever an
nounced. Heading the list were
Bob Kelly, halfback, and George
Sullivan, ' tackle, . both of whom
performed with the 1943 'squad.
Kelly, a naval V-12 trainee, will
be available until the end of the
navy semester October" 28. . Sulli
