': CHICAGO,' July ft-OfV-Beaction
to yesterday buUisV trade 'hit
the J' era in market " today ' ancj
wheat futures prices broke sharp
ly. Transactions during the prej
ceding session, had sapped much
of the buying power, limiting to
day's demand while hedging sales
increased. -' - ; ;
! Traders believed yesterday's adf
vances were sufficient to discount
the bullish news that the war
. food administration had increased
- from 85 to 90 per cent of parity
the wheat loan rate.
Some uneasiness also was at
tributed to reports that prices paid
'by; the commodity credit corpor
ation for wheat would not be af
fected by the increase in the loan
rate. Current CCC purchases are
made on the basis of six cents
over the old loan rate. : 1 .
: At mid-session there was some
' buying by commission houses but
the market showed no rallying
power and , the deferred contracts
- closed at new lows for; the day. '
At the close wheat was IV to
2Ya under yesterday's finish,
July $1J58. Oats were off to
Ai July 77. Rye was to
r lower July .4142. Sarley was
; higher to 1 lower. July $U6.

i Chairman Pepper. (D-Fla.) said

general working population.
"It is a , national tragedy that
nearly five million of our young
men are unfit for military, service
at a .time when the manpower
needs of the nation are so critical,"
,' he declared. '; .
: Studies so far have covered

"The health needs of our re

those discharged for psychoneu
rotic: causes, will also be discussed
at the headings," Pepper asserted.
