CHICAGO, June 20-iip)-Wheat
and rye futures prices declined
today on news that , a parity price
provisions I, has been . eliminated
from, the price control extension
After heavy selling at the open
ing, trading was limited and there
seemed to be no Inclination to
broaden the downward trend.
Early losses in wheat! and rye
ran two cents and more. Kye
showed some rallying power, but
wheat displayed little. Oats were
weaker with wheat and rye. Bar
ley as Irregular. ; ; .j . :
The market's lower reaction at
the opening came on news that
senate-house conferees bad junk
ed the Pace amendment to the
price control extension bill. The
amendment would have penalized
processors who did not pay parity
prices . for ; farm commodities.
Government crop loans now are
made at 85 per cent of parity. 1
Wheat closed 1 to 2 cents
lower than yesterday's close, July
$1.57-: Oats were; k to
lower, July 75. Rye was off 1
