Leonard Cohen of the 4th air force now stationed at the Port land air base and who has been assisting with the Women's Ar my Corps recruiting program in Salem, spoke to the auxiliary members on j Americanism and paid tribute j to the volunteer women in the WACs by con tributing their services to their country. The group sub scribed to the Red Cross, sent 12 tray favors to children in the Deaconess hospital for Eas ter, and sent candy and stamps for stamp book to an adopted veteran in Portland hospital.
