light selling gave the stock
market another jolt Saturday and
leaders finished a generally un
satisfactory week with - losses of
fractions to two or more points.
, Commitments were trimmed, as
in Friday's session, on the idea

were given slaughter quota in
creases for 20.000 additional lambs
and an unlimited lend-lease mar
ket outlet for frozen, telescoped
lamb carcasses, the food distri
bution administration announced
last week-
Increases are being granted at
the request of stockmen in the
Willamette valley and west coast
counties in Oregon, who have con
tended that existing quotas pre
evnted them from marketing large
numbers ' of lambs, particularly
commercial and utility . grades,
