date of the Methodist church Bi
ble school has . been changed to
June 1-7 from 9 to 11:30 each
day. All children : from three to
high school, age are welcome.
There will be a small registration
fee to cover cost of supplies.

things as making simulated glass
windows, bird houses, ; wall pla
ques, tents, etc. : A great deal of
preparation is being made so that

McDonalds Lease
Rodgers Farm ;
SCIO G. D. McDonald has
taken a five-year lease on the en
tire George Rodgers farm of 1100
acres on Rodgers Mountain south
east of -Scio. McDonald has had
part of the place leased for cattle
and goat pasture for the past sev
eral years, his son Raymond and
family occupying the house
known as the former Downing
place. Mr. and Mrs. Rodgers plan
to move to Scio. Rodgers is a son
of Eli Rodgers, who took a dona
tion land claim on part of the
present, property and for whom
the mountain was named.
Mr. and Mrs. John Brock are at
the home of their son-in-law and
daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Carle Cy
rus, , pending completion of their
new residence in Scio. The Brocks
have rented their farm property
in : the Providence - district south
east of Scio.
Mr. and Mrs. G. ' E. Rhoades,
who Jiave operated .the Pastime
Pool hall in Scio for several
weeks, have . returned to . their
farm near Yakima, Wn. Rhoades
is a brother of Mrs. N. I. Morri
son of Scio. .
