McDonald has taken a five-year lease on the en tire George Rodgers farm of 1100 acres on Rodgers Mountain south east of -Scio. McDonald has had part of the place leased for cattle and goat pasture for the past sev eral years, his son Raymond and family occupying the house known as the former Downing place. Mr. and Mrs. Rodgers plan to move to Scio. Rodgers is a son of Eli Rodgers, who took a dona tion land claim on part of the present, property and for whom the mountain was named.
