ing in action" in the Atlantic on

is a private in the army technical
school, armored forces, Ft Knox,

Mrs.! Miller -is a member of
the Oregon Civil Reserves and
has been active at the civilian
defense control center here. She

assigned to a coast guard station
she will have a rating of petty
officer, third class, with a month
ly pay of $160.50, including al
lowances. She will be eligible
for advancement to higher rat
