' Hearing Tests Now Under Way DALLAS The 2500 pupils of Polk county are receiving hearing tests, according to Josiah Wills, county superintendent of schools. The tests are being given to zs larger schools under the auspices of the Polk county health depart ment through the aid of the Ore gon state board , of health. Miss Rebecca Oyerstreet, audio metrist for the Oregon state board of health, makes the; tests, by means of a phonograph audiome ter. The work has been complet ed at West Salem, Brush College, Grand Ronde, Lincoln, Spring Valley, Zena, Mountain View and Pop Corn. -' The coming week's tests will be riven at Perrydale. Rickreall, Or chard View, Eola, Buena Vista, Independence and Monmouth. The week following, Dallas and Falls Citv schools will be tested.
