Logging Damages
Roads of County
LEBANON Increased logging
in this part of the county has
been hard on the roads and even
the roads newly paved are having
to have repairs. Not only does
the big increase in hauling break
down the roads but the silver
thaw last winter so softened the
roadbeds that damage has , been
much greater than in normal
winters.
This Increased repair work will
take practically all of the money
available for road work in east'
em Linn county and will prob
ably mean that, no new roads will
be bunt.
An added problem for the coun
ty court Is the difficulty in getting
oil because of priorities and lack
of transportation.
