ANGEL The Legion's birthday was celebrated in ML Angel with a supper Tuesday, giv en by tilt, auxiliary for the Le gion members. Peter Gores, com mander of the local post was pre sented with a large cake, decorat ed in the Legion colors and in scribed with,the 23rd anniversary, The cak'e was a gift from Mrs. Albert Lanners, past, president of the auxiliary, who - was likewise celebrating her birthday that day. J. Penner was a guest. All past ' commanders of - the ' post .were seated at the honor table. Program numbers consisted of a vocal du et by June Ann ' and Flodine Lucht, piano solo, Ralph Oswald and a vocal solo by Elaine Pros- aer. -v The auxiliary decided to hold the annual Easter egg hunt 'for the children of Legionnaires and auxiliary members at the Legion hall at 2 pjn. on April S. Angel MT., ANGEL Funeral rites for Susan Marie ' Ficker, ' infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ficker, who died at the Hubbard hospital Tuesday were held from St Mary's Catholic church Wed nesday at 1:30 p.m. The child was born March 9.
